The brand new shepherd's hut was beautifully presented and the woodburner added such a cozy touch. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning hiking trails in the surrounding North Cornwall area. We enjoyed coming back to the hut after a day of hiking and watching the variety of birds at the feeding table by the kitchen window. The hosts, Philippa and Damien, were incredibly welcoming and provided us with freshly baked bread, eggs, milk. We highly recommend Toms Hut for a peaceful and enjoyable family getaway.

For dads, it would be great to have a little more space for the kids to play outside.

I had an amazing stay here. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the towels were so soft. The hosts were welcoming and even provided a welcome gift of freshly made bread. The location was perfect for me as I was walking the South West Coast Path. The hotel facilities were great and the staff made me feel like I was at home.

The hut was located in the most stunning area with breathtaking hiking trails that our family thoroughly enjoyed. The hut itself was charming and cozy, with a woodburning stove that added to the romantic atmosphere. We were greeted with warm homemade bread, fresh eggs, and other thoughtful treats. The hosts were friendly and gave us great recommendations for exploring Wadebridge and the surrounding areas. It was a perfect getaway for our anniversary week and we highly recommend it.

It would have been even better if there were handrails or grab bars in the bathroom for senior guests. The children working there were lovely, but this addition would have made our vacation even more comfortable.
